I see that Haier have released their new H2o washer in Asia and in France, the big talking point is this washer apparently cleans without the need for detergent whatsoever.
This model supposedly uses negatively and positively charged ions which are blasted through the water to remove stains.
Please pardon the cynicism but this just seems like another sales gimmick to me, indeed a professor from an Australian university says he cannot even understand the information he got from Haier explaining how this would work.
Why must companies use such silly gimmicks to attract propective customers, and I wonder how much water this would use given our water problems here in Australia.
Any opinions folks?
Cheers.
Steve.
