Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I don't have a nuwave, but I do have a Jetstream which is the same principal w/o the light bulb. Mine actually cooks relatively quick, will wash in the DW, but takes up the whole machine. Egg rolls and other items that are usually fried come out perfect w/o the added oil.

If you like gadgets, and If you can get it cheap, I'd say go for it. I got my at a sale new in box for $25 about five years ago.

We also had a similar countertop convection over several years ago. It was a similar design as the NuWave. It worked great. Muffins, rolls and breads all puffed up more than in a conventional oven. Roasts turned out great, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. In fact we used the extender piece on it and cooked a prime rib in it for Christmas one year. It turned out magnificently.
If you have the counter top space for one I'd say go for it.

Is the "NuWave" like the GE Advantium?I have the GE Advantium-and LOVE it!works great-almost used everyady-and like in another thread-even bake my ginger cookies in it-does a great job in half the time compared to a regular oven.mine also works as a microwave oven-and a stove vent. The GE Advantiums use the halogen bulbs as heating elements.they are supposed to last the life of the machine.to regulate the heat-you see them switching on and off.
