Hamilton Beach

We are cleaning out a friends house and found this Hamilton Beach Steam Iron in it's origianl box. I brought it home and gave it a try. It works great. Has polished stainless steel
soleplate and also has large water tank. I had no idea Hamilton Beach made irons this good. It works almost as good as my old Hoover Stainless iron. Anyone know the age of this product?

My guess would be mid 70's. Really a nice looking iron. Reminds me of a Westinghouse.

That's because it orginally was a Westinghouse

Sometime during the 1960s the Westinghouse small appliance divison was bought by Hamilton Beach. Hamilton Beach kept the heating appliances and eliminated the motorized appliances.
