Hamilton dryers were made by the Hamilton Co, Two Rivers WI.

Thanks akronman! Very interesting. Had no idea they made the FIRST automatic clothes dryer... Like the page said, that was the "missing piece". Auto washer, now auto dryer. Lets make cookies! (And clean, and dust and and and all the other things women of the day did then). Who did they get sold to in '68? Did they make anything else besides dryers?

I was at the doctor's office a few years ago, and the examining table I was sitting on had the familiar "Hamilton" logo on it.

I never heard of Hamilton until I order a few vintage magazines off Ebay and there was an ad in one of them. Wonder if they were even sold around here.
