$200 for a beautiful gas range so well built it would cost over 20 times more today.  I wish I could talk my sister into it.

Looks pretty minty. I prefer the older, more rounded Wedgewood/Holly style, especially with the porthole oven windows, but this one certainly would cook better than 99.99% of the crap you can get today.

I'd jump on it but I have no spot for a free standing gas range here. Everything is built-in (except for the curbside special Tappan electric I stuck in the workshop, and use for curing powder coating)...
 
I sent pix and link to my sister.  You never know. 

 

She has a white '40s Wedgewood, one of those ubiquitous dowdy designs used across almost all makes, a frumpy look I've never cared for.  The subject stove would really dress up her kitchen nicely and I know she'd get nothing but compliments on the upgrade.
