I have my Grandma Baumann's HB Mixette model 87, white top and black bottom. It has a date stamp on the box of 5/67, it was bought @ Grebe's Ace Hardware here in Wausau for $6.99, marked down from $13.98. On the back of the instruction booklet it says it was made in Racine, WI. I like the feel of this mixer alot more than the 3 year old HB hand mixer we use as a daily driver.

in all my yrs of thrifting Ive never seen a portable like that now Ive got to find one I have th stand mixer like it

The hand mixer we use as a daily driver is a Proctor-Silex, not HB. DUH!
