Happy Australia Day to all my fellow Aussies on here I hope you all have a great, fun filled day ,tell me what are you all doing?, unfortunately I have to work most of the day, but after work I am having a few celebratory drinks with some dear friends.
Cheers guys,
Steve.

Cheers Steve....

....and to you too

We're of out to breakfast at Cafe Essen....divine coffee with about 25 bean varieties, 6 flavourings (if you MUST) and 12 or so different ways to have it prepared.....I could be quite wired by lunchtime

Then an Australia Day BBQ at a friends who have a kick bum pool. Expecting 31c/90f here today so it could even be warm enough for a swim!

That was one of the things I was so intrigued with when I visited Australia in 2001...the suburbs (except for the tile roofs and Hills Hoists) could be transplanted intact to anywhere in the US/Canada. It shows how half a world away "affluence" combined with "elbow room" means the same thing.

Now I'm all misty eyed and looking to buy a Pontiac G8 (Holden Commodore)...

Happy (belated) Australia Day! Great close-up picture of the kookaburra. Not that easy to get a bird to pose for a picture like that. Here's a close-up picture that I took this past Halloween, of a squirrel getting into the pumpkin.

Anyone interested in Australian Products catalog, go AussieProducts.com. That's where I get my calendar from every year.

One of the biggest reasons I'd love to visit Australia is to see the birds, all the wild budgies (parakeets) and the cockatiels, so many other types as well. I bred birds for years and years and just love em.
