It was a good day. One of my better birthdays.

I ran a load of dishes (only one re-wash item), finished a book I found more interesting than delightful (The Book of Lies, Felice Picano,) and my friend Linn took me out to one of our favourite places, Luigi's in Akron. Luigi's is the model for "Montoni's" in the "Funky Winkerbean" and "Crankshaft" comic strips.

Except, that UNLIKE "Montoni's," Luigi's is very popular, and the pie is best in the region.

It was a good day.

Got some nice cards, e-cards, and a few paper-ink-envelope-stamp cards, as well.

Mikki gave me a new journal, a nice pair of earrings, and a box of SunSations dishwasher powder (Isn't she faboo?!?!!)

If this thread isn't a Sally Field moment, I hope to never have one! (KIDDING)
