Found this set recently, tho not my favorite color, they were owned by a little old lady in a mobile home and had very little use. Because of never being in a basement the cosmetic condition of the set is outstanding.........

Heat selections........Normal is standard 220V on both elements, Delicate is just one element on, Fluff is of course no power to the heating elements.......

Dryer timer, both are timed cycles with a rather loud buzzer at the end of the Permanent Press cycle, that buzzes for about 2 minutes at the end of the drying cycle.......

Super Filter Flo, early deep filter pan, without the recess that many later pans had........

Just love this set, but alas, the age old problem of too many machines and not enough room! Rebuilt the clutch on the washer, new suspension snubber and new #4 switch in the timer. Replaced the motor in the dryer and both front drum glides........ If ANYONE has any interest in the set let me know! Need to make room before winter.......CHEAP!!!

Hey Jimmy!!

havent talked with you in a while would love to have that set let me know what the deal is...Thankx Tim

Hi Greg, yes thanks these were exceptionally nice and thats the main reason I picked them up. I knew the dryer had a burned out motor, but that was an easy replacement. I didnt know the working condition of the washer but it looked so nice I thought it would be OK, which mainly it was. It still has the original metal tranny in it, but not a drop of water or oil at the bottom and the outer tub which is so prone to rust thru is perfect. Am glad I was able to save them from the scrap heap........Im sure someone will be able to use them and appreciate them.........

Thanks Ben, and it gets clothes as clean as it looks! The Super Activator really moves the clothes around, even tho its a srt8 vane agitator. I think this is about a 1973 model, and GE was still doing things right back then........

Jimmy,

These even looked better in person than in the photos. Thanks again for being such a gracious host to Randy and myself. We had a great time yesterday and it was so nice to see you, your collection and the kitties again.

Rich
