Last day of the month here

At work, hitting the gym on my way home, then dinner cooked by Michael.
Tomorrow we have a wedding in the afternoon and then we're going to Fred N's(Tarantula Arms) for dinner.
Sunday and Monday are for us. Sunday is also a special anniversary, look for that in a seperate thread.

BIG party tomorrow and I'm taking 4 cakes, and 3 other fellas along with me, so we'll arrive like a cake parade.

I will reveal the secret recipe for the Aloha Bundt. It's actually printed on the Nordic Ware wrapper that the pan came in!

I'm off to St. Paul for the Minnesota State Fair. Perfect weather for it, too---85-degrees, breezy, sunny. The daughter of friends is competing in the Talent From County Fairs contest, tonight. How freaking 'Mayberry' is THAT?!

Tomorrow, it's brunch at The Independent, a swing through Kitchen Window, (one of my favorite kitchen stores on the planet, along with Sur La Table in Seattle) then back home to prep for the work- week. And a short work-week, at that.
