Go for it! I did that in my HotPoint dishwasher from the 80's and it did fine. But I do reccomend cooking the noodles first. But It was really good.

I do OTOH wanna know what kind of Whirlpool that was, looks like it has a filter and washes top and bottom at once.

Everytime I see a video of a new Whirlpool dishwasher working, I'm more and more driven to wanting one. And that was a BOL model too!!! Or just above, since it did have the in door basket. Maybe I should splurge on a TOL before they phase out this design for something new that will take a few years for bugs to be worked out, just like the way these current machines started out, and the Voyager before that.
