Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Nice Harvest Gold Appliance Selection

That is the last model of WH before they were purchased by White industries, These are all around 1970.

Westinghouse DW was a very good performing machine, but very poor durability, our friends in Ohio had 3 of these in just 12 years.

Magic Chef was already a poor quality range by this time, but at least it has a Burner-With-A-Brain.

The WP Trash Masher was their first model ever, these were pretty sturdy.

None of these appliances had much use or they would be long gone, this is a great find hope some club members  save them.

PS, I have the same HG WH stack set [ also gas dryer ] in good condition that needs a home.  And if someone is going that direction I would buy the WP TMer compactor.

Two of my aunts

had the Magic Chef range from 1971 in Avocado, and loved them. Go figure, and they cooked and baked all the time in them. Continuous cleaning oven too. One baked all the cookies for my cousins wedding in it. She had it until the late 90's. My grandma only ever ownd a Magic Chef. Her oldest one was in the basement when she passed in 1995. It was form the 1940's. The one in her kitchen still worked, was a 1960's model. Also used heavily.

As you know I have a set and use them weekly - They wash GREAT but you need another machine to spin them.

I transfer from the Westinghouse and then go to the Unimatic.
