The Smoke eater thing for a Philco range....Im curious to see what it looked like since my stove has the outlet to hook it up...????

Go to page three in this 1957 Philco employee newsletter and there is a 1957 range with the smoke eater. Be patient; it takes a while to download.

Thanks Tom, mine is a SS 4076, so I now know its a 57 model....That thing looks like the helmet for an ELECTRIC CHAIR!!!!LOL

The smoke eater is probably in the basement or storage space of the house where you bought the range. They were bulky to store in the kitchen and rarely used because of cleaning issues.

At a thrift store, so its probably long gone..
