Has anyone seen the Norge made Hoover 20 pound capacity washers?

Hi everyone,

One time when I was looking on the appliance parts pros website, looking at parts for a Norge made Maytag Performa 20 pound capacity washer Model Number PAV3000AWW, I found out that Hoover made the 20 pound capacity washers like Admiral,Jenn Air, Maytag/Maytag
Performa,Magic Chef,Norge, and Possibly Amana.

If you see a Amana or Hoover 20 pound capacity washer, post in your reply an image of the washer, the model number, the interior of the washer, and a image of the control panel.

That was in Australia. Amana was made by Hoover here as a delux version of the standard Hoover machine.

The tie in all came from when Maytag bought Hoover. They're as rare as hens teeth now as it was an off brand compared to Maytag or Hoover

Does that fit in with Blackstone providing the design the first large capacity ( ? 15 lb ) TL automatic Hoover washing machines in Australia ~ 1969 ? ( or not ... )

No. These are totally seperate machines. My understanding is that they're based on the May tag platform. The American looking hoovers also were the same. They didn't have the reversing motor for agaitation like the standard hoovers. These are from the late 80s onwards

These late 1980s 20 pound machines werenot based on a Maytag platform.  they were based upon Norge at the time.  True Maytags were never the large of a capacity.

2 new Blackstone Hoover 600s for me

Hi everyone, I just scored 2 mid 70s Hoover 600 top loaders today. From Melbourne, of course. They always are there for some reason. One is a 625 with heater to boost up the water temp. So stoked to have so many spare parts 😀 They arrive tomorrow afternoon😛😛

No, those are the black stone based machines.

The Norge/Maytag version looked a bit more like an early 90s speed queen.
