In my recession search for free entertainment, I found this on CBS.com, I never saw it before. It's quite a change from the usual 50s, 60s westerns. Paladin as the urbane gunslinger, quoting poetry and living in San Francisco (!). According to Wikipedia, Maureen O'Hara said Richard Boone and Peter Lawford were arrested in a Melbourne, Australia gay bar in the early 50s while filming a movie there. That would explain a lot. The storylines are actually quite up-to-date. The only downside are the blaring Brooke Shields commercials.
