WOW

Amazing.  What's just as amazing as his collection is the church's appreciation and gratitude for the man.  The woman in the video is just tickled pink to be working on this effort.  Also impressive that she has his ashes.  Truly, the church was his family.

Oh my what a story, teared up a bit there. It was quite an involved passion he had.

In the amateur radio world we see this happen every once in a while. Single guys amass a collection and don't have anyone to handle the estate when the time comes. Good idea to have a plan.

RIP Dennis

Great Story

I love the Edsel wagon, and saw quite a few model cars I have as well. How neat that the collection will be put to a good cause too. Quite a lot I would bid on.
Thanks for sharing the story, keep us posted if they post a sale.
Nice also that the story was done with respect.

In nearby Eagan, too.

Does this story sound like anyone here?  Can't be.

I know though, if I get anywhere close to even 500 washers, dryers, dishwasher, and Vacuum, I will need a 2 level, climate controlled,  80 x 200 steel pole building with cement floor, insulated walls and be situated on at least 40 acres..... or something.  tee-ah-tee-heeee.  ... but that's just silly.

I like how they presented this.  So smooth and clean.  He collected, he cared for the cars, he passed on, and now, the church simply has to sell it off.

Nice that the man was appreciated.

I'm kind of curious as to what kind of personal and professional life he had such that he had the time, energy, and money to spend on this (possibly profitable) hobby. Something like this has never been an option for me.

I do hope this church is not one of those anti everybody-not-like-us churches that are a disservice to humanity.

Jim
