...if you can get it for cheap...

...I'd grab that Ronson Cook N' Stir blender. The controls have lights and it makes a real statement on your kitchen counter. The shipping charge is reasonable considering the shell is cast metal and it weighs a ton. I can make a copy of the recipe booklet if someone wants it.

Some are bargains but it's interesting to note how Jon's "collecting" has driven up vintage blender prices in the last few years. LOL

That HB is the blender my mother received as a wedding gift in '65 - and still has, a very nice machine. I put a new seal and blade on it a few years ago - works like it's brand new still.

Vita-Mix abuse! They must have really been hard on the original chrome to feel like that rattle-can paint job was better.

I have most of the above blenders plus plenty others,  except the Blender Queen (rebadged panasonic/) , the little Kenmore and the mastercraft. If they're getting some of those prices I should start thinning the herd and just keep the ones I really like the design of.

Re the Waring timer-light.. I believe that is the correct glass jar..It's not a commercial model though,  they  had the stainless steel  jar and like all the commerical models, a 3 prong plug at that time.

Speaking of driving up prices.. There was a "Grouch" who used to bid and most often would win just about every interesting old blender or mixer that was ever posted on Ebay. Haven't seen them for awhile though it's hard to tell  now that usernames are more or less hidden.

BTW it  WASN'T me  LOL
