I always thought that a set of these would be fun to have, if I had the room. (Which I don't!) If I remember correctly, the only drawback is that there is no extra-rinse option on the washer. http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/app/4110368760.html

Pic 7 -- Dryer tag "T" is 1988 model-year, production Aug 8-12 1988.

Pic 4 -- The washer has a dual-action agitator so must also be a KAWE800T model (with under-basket lint filter).  The bottom basket perfs are exposed so it's a standard dual-action, not a KA super-size, which is reasonable for a 2-speeder.  The KAWE800S 1987 model-year has a non dual-action agitator with a pull-off upper barrel that incorporated a lint filter, ala Maytag-style.

Pic 6 -- That piece in the dryer drum is a softener sheet dispenser that mounts to back/center of the console.
