Look to be in great condition,

Dryer serial = March 14-18, 1988

Washer serial = Feb 22-26, 1988

Dryer lint screen is integral to the air outlet, there's a grill that comes off to clean it.

That is a great looking well kept set for a great price. I picked a set of these up a couple of years ago from someone’s weekend place.

Looks like WP/Kenmore down rated heating power of this dryer. Could swear mine's comes in at about 1400 watts, but doing numbers for one above comes in around 1200 watts (volts x amps ='s watts).

Still all and all you can't kill these vintage WP compact dryers. Mine (in lovely Harvest Gold) just keeps going and going. Even though have blow dryers with higher wattage heating power it does get the job done. Key is to extract the heck out of things to extent possible before putting them in dryer.

Heating Element Size In A WP 120 Volt Compact Dryer

This dryer should have a 1400 watt element, interestingly the model tag says 1,450 watts, when you add in the waste heat from the motor these dryers have around 1700-1800 watts of drying power.
