Gosh, after 4 years of moving from one family to another, I think I found one that wants to keep me! My new owner met me last week and we went for walks at lunchtime and he kept telling me about this wonderful house he had down in a place called Ogden. He also kept warning me that his partner was something humans call a 'nut job', but when I met him this weekend, he seemed fine! He played with me and walked with me and only got a little mad when I lifted my leg against something he called a 'Mobile Maid'! Humans are funny...
Well, now if you'll excuse me, an unauthorized deer just entered my security perimeter.

Thank you!

He's just adorable - it has been decades since I have had a dog and I forgot how much fun and love they bring with them. Hubby was promised one for a LONG time now, too! He's happy, the dog's happy, so where's my KitchenAid?? LOL

Where's you KitchenAid? LOL It can't always be about you

I know exactly what's happened there... you had to acquiese and get a dog to make up for that last dw you got in Hamilton. That was part of the deal wasn't it.. .be honest.. HA.

He's lovely. I love to have my dogs in the family. I like em all.
Another pic or two wouldn't hurt.. don't be stingy

Actually, I think I promised the dog when I got the 66 Maytag top-loader back in 2007! According to hubby, we should have a pack of dogs by now... LOL
I'll have to take some more pictures tonight - stay tuned - but here is one of the elusive hubby with Echo!

I know how that goes. I once lived with a shepherd dog that my roommate was keeping as rescue animal. We joked about how she'd hear something, and she'd immediately be by the door loading her machine gun, ready to deal with the intruder.

But the dog did have a warm side. She was my "teddy dog" for several months, sleeping on my bed. Most welcome in winter.

German Sheperds are some of the most loyal dogs out there. With proper bonding you will have a best friend for life. They pick up on things tremendously fast, so that makes them easy to train to a point.
And since your dog is older (how old?) you don't have to go through all the puppy mess.

Do you know the reason why this dog was handed around from family to family?

Whirlcool - Echo is nearly 4. He was adopted by families with small children and they found he was too big for them to handle. He's actually pretty good and he learns quickly, so he just needs to learn some doggie manners and I think he'll be fine!
Here's a shot taken tonight at our apartment in Montreal:

At least it wasn't the terq GE combo in the kitchen! LOL!!!

Welcome to the family, Echo! You are a handsome boy and sure to work your way into your Human's hearts if they aren't careful!

Oh, he's such a happy boy in those pictures. Please, MORE!!!

More pictures from the past weekend

Taken down in Ogden. Boy, was Echo happy to be back down there again!! Hope he doesn't get too disoriented spending the week in town and the weekend down in Ogden!
Here he is after a run through the creek that is on the property.

Here's Echo at the part of the creek near our driveway. He just loves running through it! Good thing he has a fur coat, 'cause that water is still awful cold!!
