And here is one photo of Pepper, one of our favorites. She really is a sweet girl, and this morning she started playing with the other dogs...

She kind of looks like an old ladies dog, doesn't she? She needs to loose a few lbs.

And yes, these dogs are really that red color. It doesn't show very well, but they have a tinge of black running through their coats as well.

....there is nothing like a dog. And speaking of which, here is my baby Bella, a beautiful Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever/St. Bernard mix. Love her more than life itself!!

A Little Poem.....

If this isn't my dog's life, then nothing is....enjoy.....

Now I lay me down to sleep,
The king-size bed is soft and deep..
I sleep right in the center groove
My human being can hardly move!
I've trapped his legs, he's tucked in tight
And here is where I pass the night
No one disturbs me or dares intrude
Till morning comes and "I want food!"
I sneak up slowly to begin
my nibbles on my human's chin.
For the morning's here
and it's time to play
I always seem to get my way.
So thank you Lord for giving me
This human person that I see.
The one who hugs and holds me tight
And shares his bed with me at night!

Awww... that was a very nice poem and is so true in so many ways for some of us. But now that we have 4 dogs on hand, nobody can sleep in the bed with us. There isn't enough room!
