My name is Mike. I live in New London, Oh. I'am married with 2 teenage kids.I recently joined this site. I have belonged to vacuum land for about 2 years now. I really enjoy this site!! Everyone here is real nice and knowledgable. I like old/vintage appliances (and just about everything else that is old). I have a 1984 Whirlpool washer and 1984 Kenmore electric dryer. I do my own repairs on them when needed.I figured it was about time I introduced myself and said Hello.

Hey! Mike:

Welcome to our extended Family of great Friends. Did you purchase your Whirlpool Washer and Kenmore Dryer New or 2nd Hand?

This is such a wonderful Site and everyone is very helpful with others needs, if we get stuck on one of our many Appliance Projects.

Keep us Posted about your Appliances and how your doing as well.

Peace and Kind Regards, Steve

Thanks Guys

I bought my set about 15 years ago from a 2nd hand appliance store in lorain. The wife and I were just starting out and didn't have a lot of money to buy a new washer and dryer.Since I had them I had to replace the gearbox, the water valve, the agitor dawgs, and bypass the lid switch on the washer. The dyer I only had to replace the drum belt.Twice a year or so I pull the back panel off and open the lid of the dryer to clean all the dust and lint from inside. Thanks Again for the warm welcome!!
Mike
