I have a GE JD25A1YE double wall oven that is original to my 1966 house. One of the lower elements wasn't working so I finally got around to figuring that out and discovered a loose connection behind the element that I repaired. Now the oven overheats by about 200 degrees, so I assume I need a new thermostat. I did download and study the 1960's GE Electric Range Technical Manual. It didn't have the exact part number but it had a close one with a wiring diagram that matches the wiring diagram I found tucked inside the oven. Unfortunately, neither has the part number for the thermostat. The only marking are on the thermostat face, where it's Marked Hotpoint and has the numbers 276C926P 12 and 60422. Those don't appear to be part numbers I can find anywhere. I've attached photos. Any ideas?

The Robert Shaw replacements (which are great thermostats) would be 5455-208 for the upper oven and 5455-209 for the lower oven
Thank you! Before I make a big purchase, I am noticing that this part seem to be a different form factor than what I took photos of. Is this to be expected?
