Hi everybody. I have a GE Dryer VD534FT4191 and just broke the nob on the "start" area. Everything else works. The plastic nob covers the actual mechanism. If I can't source anything, do you have tips on how to use the dryer? Any workarounds?

The first photo is the broken nob and the 2nd photo is what the nob should look like.

Audrey, you could use a pair of pliers to turn the dial shaft to the right to get the dryer started while you search for a replacement.  I've got a source for used dryer parts from this generation of Camco-built dryers - I'll reach out and see if I can find you something!
