I am so close to getting that washer/dryer combo unit of mine ready for testing, but I have run into a snag with the wiring for the drying heater elements. The original wiring diagram was badly damaged, but thanks to Jimmy, I have a diagram from a WD562 'M' series. That was a huge help, but the 'N' model I have has some extra wires that aren't on the 'M' series diagram... I was lucky enough to be able to trace coloured wires from different components to the timer but the heating elements to the relay and thermostat aren't clear to me. The thermostat that I have for the dryer is very unlikely to work and I am figuring that I will not be able to use the drying function until I can replace it. Can I simply leave the heater wires disconnected to do testing on the wash functions?
I would still really like to see the original wiring diagram just to make sure I didn't mess anything up... If I did, what's the worst that could happen??
