Hey guys, good news is I’m finally able to see my thor in person But it in really rough shape, I don’t think this stuff happened while it was in the sellers care, does anybody know of what I can do to try to fix this machine? Or did I basically pay $350(150 for the machine, 200 for the postage of it) for what could essentially be scrap metal? The first two photos of the outer tub where the outer tub section has dents in it, the third and fourth photos of what I noticed after taking out the washtub and balancing ring, [this post was last edited: 5/1/2023-00:11]

Yeah well normally this hasn’t really happened before

also Luxflare please, Let’s see what we can do to fix this instead of Knocking me about because of my choice of shipping provider,
Plus if you were going to move one of these machines how would you prepare the machine before moving it? Would you place something in between the outer tub and be in a tub to prevent movement of the suspension system?

UniMatic

I wasn’t able to get a photo but I ended up trying to actually get a video and so the physical top of the transmission appears to be intact and so it may only just be that gear and a bit of broken metal

Okay so those gears appear to be part of the shifting mechanism between agitate, spin and both agitate/spin for washing dishes. My Thor is completely different in the shifting design.

I'd take the outer tub off so you can get a better look at the entire mechanism and see what happens when you turn the motor pulley by hand.
