Help - No heat with Kitchenaid Hobart Imperial KDI-16 Dishwasher

Hello. Was wondering if anyone has thoughts on the dishwasher no longer heating. Would this most likely need heating element replacement or should I assess electrical issues? Dishwasher cycles normally. Thanks so much!

Are you talking about the water heating element or the dry heating element ?

Thanks for response John. I'm getting hot water during cycle but no heat during the drying phase.

KDI-16 DW No Dry Heat

It is likely either a bad blower motor, bad limit thermostat on the dry heater assembly or a bad heating element itself.

 

It is also possible to have a bad wire connection or bad timer.

 

First thing to Ck is whether the little fan is running during the dry cycle or not and go from there.
