Could someone, anyone give me the best advice on getting out or covering up swirl marks on a one month old black GE SxS refrigerator?

I am sure that the cleaning woman used a rag with an abrasive cleaner or residue on it. I know how delicate the surface is on these new appliances no matter the brand, and that's another story, but the swirls are particularly bad when sunlight hits the fridge.

Youtube videos and such suggest turtle wax with carnuba, but this is where I get my appliance advice from.

Thanks,
Mike

I once used Turtle Spray Car Wax to polish a black refrigerator and it really gave it a beautiful shine. But whether or not it will get rid of swirl marks is another story, but it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. I sure hope your cleaning lady know better that to do something like this again. Good Luck!

If they're not too deep and there's still some black paint left inside the groove of scratches, try out some of that Meguiars scratch remover.
See how that does.

I agree with the suggestions above.  Any car polish that claims to remove swirls would be the place to start.

Over the years we've had cleaning people who have either damaged or broken many household items.  I think it's partly ignorance and partly because time is money and they're all in a rush to get to the next house.

We've gone without a cleaning service since the last one damaged a one-of-a-kind piece and also because we unintentionally discovered on one particular day that they had spent less than an hour here.

I can't trust them to keep track of my preferences and follow instructions on which cleaners (not) to use on which surfaces or share the information with other team members, so now we go without.

On a somewhat related note

I had a supervisor once that used a cleaning service. Her husband was very anal retentive about insisting that the cleaning staff using their Rainbow vacuum, rather than the cleaning service vac. Well you probably guessed, the cleaning company staff used the Rainbow without putting water in the bottom of the Rainbow. As a result the Rainbow was fried beyond repair by the time they realized what had been going on. The cleaning company refused to pay for a replacement. My supervisor and her husband took it to Small Claims court, along with an expert Rainbow witness and they won a judgement against the cleaning co. for full depreciated value of their Rainbow. Even though your cleaning person probably made an honest mistake by using the abrasive cleaner on your new fridge, they should bear some responsibility for their damage to you property.

Turtle Wax with Carnuba!!!

Thanks and Thank God Turtle Wax with Carnuba seems to have done the trick for the most part! That plus a quick buff job with a soft microfiber bonnet and the unit sparkles and looks great. Didn't see the swirls and the fridge has several coats of wax on it now.
Thanks for the help folks!!!!
Take care,
Mike
