I'm doing the wash and realize that it's not agitating, short version is the motor never responds at all, wash or spin.

When I select drain and spin the drain pump runs then the main user control area clicks then a second or two later the inverter board clicks the motor doesn't even twitch then the process starts over.
I noticed the door latch doesn't latch for spin but maybe that's because it hasn't sensed motion...
No error codes displayed.
Unless someone knows from experience what the issue is I wanted to start at the motor and check for proper voltages but I need to know what to look for.

The motor plug has 6 wires ~ Yellow Orange Blue White Black Green.
I have motor, inverter, and backsplash user controller part #'s at the ready if needed..

Any help, guidance, factory schematics, and/or service info. would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have nor have I ever seen a checkout chart

There's no checkout chart at all just the usual consumer user manual.
The lid lock has always only activated during spin..
I may fire the parts canon at it but I'd prefer to do some informed troubleshooting and I was hoping to start at the motor and confirm it was getting proper voltage to whichever of its 6 wires is powered in wash mode.
It may be a bad motor, probably not be it may be..

I got it and thanks again !

I'm going to study it then run it through it's tests and hope it's something conclusive AND simple....

It refuses to go into Field Service Mode !!

I spent a good 5 minutes trying different ways to get it into Field Service Mode with no success.
Seems like clue in itself unless there's a trick to it..
I held Power and Start from off, tried it with the machine on and a few variations in between and it won't go into Field Service Mode !!
Maybe it's the board in the controls-backsplash assembly ?? WH12X10277
It had been unplugged for hours so now that it's powered I'll try again in a few...

It still refuses to go into Field Service Mode !!

With the machine dark (off) I stood there holding Power and Start for 3 solid minutes and it has ZERO effect.
Also again tried it with the machine dark (off) and with it on (panel lit).
Tried it with power on and with different settings selected, drain and spin, my custom #1 selected for example,, no effect, no change,, it won't go into Field Service Mode..
Everything at the controls looks and acts perfectly normal..

I got it into Field Service Mode

I found the right procedure and it went right into Field Service Mode.
THREE CODES
E41 (Drive System) VSD Power/ Communication Error
E42 (Drive System) VSD Noisy Communication Error
E62 (Sensors) Lid Lock Error (It always only locked the lid when spinning, never when washing and it won't wash-agitate at all so I don't think that's an issue)..

While in Field Service Mode when I did the Slow and Fast Agitate and Slow and Fast spins the motor didn't move and the unit acted exactly like it did in normal mode when I tried Drain and Spin.
You get a click from the top board a pause, a click from the motor board then a pause, and it repeats, possibly indefinitely ( I don't know) but the motor never moves at all.

The consensus is the motor drive board is bad

With the E41 (Drive System) VSD Power/ Communication Error and the E42 (Drive System) VSD Noisy Communication Error the consensus is the motor drive board is bad so I've got an eBay used one coming and am hoping for some luck.. lol
