Hi

I need help with wiring a timer for my Ariston if anyone could Help I'd Really appreicaite it...

So I recenty aquired an Ariston A1217UK washing machine, and The Timer kept Pausing during the wash without reason so I suspected the timer was faulty, bought a replacment time for it and when wiring it I took not so great photos of the previous wiring arrangment and im a bit stuck when it comes to re-wiring it.

The wires are labled where they are supposed to be placed which is great but when i took the photo of one side of the wiring i had already removed one of the wires and now im not sure which contact it should be connected to.

Its labled T18 for contact 18 and there is three contact terminals for T18 no matter which one I connect it to the machine does one of two things:

1. On Powering on the motor jumps straight up to 1200rpm
2. The Machine blows the fuse in the plug(with slight buring smell but no smoke) or Trips the house electrics.

I believe i have everything wired correctly as it was before but that one wire is throwing me as im not sure why its not working when being placed in the contact its labeld for.

I have the wiring diagram but its not much help to me and perhaps someone more familiar with timers could help me sort it.

I love this machine and want to get it working again.

I've attached

1. The machine Itself
2. Time Timer wiring Before removal (with that one wire removed)
3. The Timer wiring now
4. Wiring Diagram
5: Program Positions
6. Legend

Please can someone help me.

The last time it triped the fuse it also killed the motor, now I need a new motor as well as trying to sort this wiring out, I cant get my head around it as follwing the wiring diagram it should be wired perfectly yet its just killed the Motor.

Btw your Indesit looks amazing with the Ariston Door :)

I also have in my collect your machines older brother, the 610W which is working flawlessly
