My kitchen is very open and I want a place for things like nespresso maker, etc. I have a miele oven/microwave combo in the kitchen, but I don't like using it for microwaving.

The bp is a very small space. I really wanted to add freezer drawers, dw and microwave, but it’s really cutting down on my space for storing things like my instant pot. I don't think the dw and freezer drawers should be next to each other, correct? I could move the freezer drawers to the laundry I guess. The kitchen is to the left of the space, so that seems like the right place for a microwave drawer. Is there any way to get microwave, freezer drawers, and dw in the space?

I could move them here in laundry (2nd Picture):

would it be possible to use a F&P single drawer dishwasher on the bottom, and the microwave above it?...or even an 18" dishwasher

how about a smaller cabinet and sink?

washer/dryer side by side for added counter space?.....or....a combo unit?.....

I like checking out places like IKEA, mainly to window shop and get ideas....they have a lot of make shift rooms set up to give you a variety of options...

Ideas For Saving Space In Smaller Kitchens

Cut down the size [ width ] of the cabinet under the sink, Use only a single bowl sink, but big enough to wash large things that will not fit in the DW.

While maybe not ideal, there is really no problem putting a Ref-Freezer next to ovens, DWs, these heat producing appliances are not on that much of the time and are built to withstand the slight added heat.

A compact MWO at eye level saves space and is much easier to use, incorporate it in with wall cabinets or shelves.

I agree that a single sink is a good idea, and as John stated, just be sure it's wide enough and deep enough to handle a large pot or skillet easily.  I really miss the single sink we had at our previous house.   I would also strongly advise against a stainless steel sink.  The first time you run the water after cleaning a stainless sink, it reverts to looking unmaintained.  This doesn't happen with a nice white porcelain enamel sink.

One trick I use in many of my kitchen designs is to underside the sink base. I scoop out the sides of the cabinet to accommodate the bowl(s). The extra inches are more useful for drawers or larger cabinets.

Agree, no worries about freezer next to other appliances, do what works for you.

Natasha,

Where will your refigerator unit(s) be located? I see two freezer drawers.
GE, Miele, Bosch, etc. make tall slim counter depth column units as well.
I think Sub Zero has drawers which can be either cold or freezer.
Upscale appliance dealers offer design service. The Beekman brothers of New Hampshire just remodeled their farm house kitchen with Miele designs. You may know of their goat milk soap and skin products sold on QVC.
