I'm not sure if this is before 1986. Can anyone tell me or show me what model of maytag washer this is SAV5710AWW ? they have this and an A806 they state both are working they are listed in the traiding post at work for $50.

Run, not walk, away from the SAV...

The SAV is an Maytag era Amana design washer. I would not even touch it. The Amanatags were very problematic at best. Go for the A806. You won't regret it...

A806=Good. SAV=It will ruin everything forever!

Having used and lived with both an A806 and an SAV series, I would go for the 806 like there's no tomorrow. The 806 washers and dryers are both great!

As for the SAV Amanatag...
It will ruin your credit, murder your children, abuse your pets, fade the paint on your car, make everything you cook taste like burnt rice cakes, burn down your office, steal your identity, and record over your favorite movies with the emergency broadcast signal.

Seriously though, the Amanatags are BAD NEWS!!

You can add to the "it will ruin list", your floor. Hope you reconsider, unless you really, want it. They are horrible.
