Help!

Ok guys I"m moved into my place but I need help with my Rollermatic! First question. It needs a drain hose, does a standard off the shelf one work? Second question. There is an "S" shaped hose that connects the drain hose to the pump and it's shredded. Is there a simple way to replace this?? Third. I lifted up the top to check it out, The plactic fill thingy has one hose connected to it but it has a place for a second hose and the sides are open as if water could come out. Am I missing a hose? I have pics but they won't post here at work and I don't have internet until Friday at my home so. I hope to get some answers today. Thanks guys!!

HI!

Congratulations on living with your Rollermatic. First the fill flume has that extra port so that it could be used with sudssaver machines. The S shaped hose was to allow for movement of the mechanism without transferring vibration to the drain hose connection at the point where it leaves the machine. I had no trouble just running the drain hose through the hole in back and conecting it directly to the pump.

Drain hose. Drain hose is generally smaller diameter than common drain hose. Back when Westinghouse tumble washer were made, they used the same size drain hose, but I do not know the inner diameter. Sorry. Many appliance parts places now have drain hoses with a select a width end so you can just cut off what you don't need until you get to the end that fits, then clamp it on.

take the S hose to an auto parts house and see if they have any preformed hose that might work.. and for the drain hose i took a real long length of car heater hose and rigged that to work just remember to get it long enough to be able to loop when you get to the drain stack .. yea welcome to the world of rollermatics ha ha but they are cool
