One thing I have sort of been getting into recently have been these samovars by Ben Siebel. I found the tall one in a great antique mall in downtown Reno, the white one with the blue diamonds in an antique store here in Seattle, and the brown on on eBay. I think they are very fun.
Now that I have three (one for regular coffee, one for decaf, and one for hot water), I am well prepared for any sort of afternoon tea or reception. In my 41 years, I don't think I've ever had an afternoon tea or reception, but it's good to be prepared.
