It's almost that time of year...another Wash-In!

When:
* Friday, June 11th through Sunday, June 13th

Where:
*123 Seton Rd, Verona PA 15147

Where to stay:
* For Hotels, use Monroeville 15146, Harmar/Pittsburgh 15238, Plum/Pittsburgh 15239, and Pittsburgh 15235

Schedule:
* Friday Arrivals and Meet and Greet at the house at 6pm. Ill be home all day for early arrivals and machine unloading

*Saturday Wash-In Shenanigans!...Bring your machines, use and fix the ones here and other fun stuff. The incline ride will be during the day, as well as a trip to Appliance Warehouse, which is located near the base of the incline.

*Sunday 'Wash of Shame' and farewells!

I would recommend booking rooms now, with some hotels at reduced capacity due to staffing issues, and pent-up travel demand.

Travel Safe and Start Packing!

Jerry

I messaged

David Highfield from Pittsburgh live. I don't know if he will be able to get there for a short report or not.
I would have liked to attend, but too busy these days.

Jerry and Tom were very gracious hosts, everyone enjoyed each other's company, and Pittsburgh/Penn Hills scenery is as gorgeous as I had hoped. The Appliance Warehouse downtown had mostly newer products - the oldest makes and models were early 80s. But, a widely varied mix among the washers, dryers, dishwashers, cookers, and fridges...although only a few vacuums for the Vacuumland guys.Sorry, my dudes. )o:`,

There *was* a section with older items that I did not go into. Someone did, and snagged a clothes washer from 1963. Also purchased: a 90s GE portable rollaway washer; the kind that is a rebadged Whirlpool.

I wish I had asked about the brand of laundry soap my load was done in. It made my suitcase smell quite pleasant.

Another Great Gathering Thanks Jerry And Tom

It was really nice to see everyone and a few new faces as well.

Jeff From Mansfield O and I tore apart Jerrys 1961 yellow WH Laundermat washer and replaced the main bearings, it went pretty well but we did not have the correct water seal so complete reassembly and testing will take place later.

It was really great to meet Chris from Texas and Rob from Pennsylvania and Lakewebsterkid from Ohio.

Chris even made an extra 8 hour round trip to come see all the appliances in the museum here in Beltsville.
