Bold--the detergent I used for years when I was in charge of laundry. Not my choice, however--my mother swore by it. To quote another old Bold ad, "she likes to choose them. But I'm the one who has to use them!"
Never saw a box of Tide in my family. Most other brands--but never Tide.

I can't recall if we ever used Bold. I remember using Tide, Oxydol, Cheer, Fresh Start, Yes, Fresh Start, and mom's favorite Breeze. The kid reminds me of my best friend growing up, if there was dirt to be found he would find it.

My Grandma still uses Bold. I hate it because it has fabric softener in it. It does clean good though.

Bold

I have always used Tide,my grandmother Oxydol.My mother in the 50s Duz,it always had a wash cloth or hand towel in it.I still have some of them.Bobby

I'm not sure how she gets her wash done since she looks like she has 2 dryers in her laundry room

but one is def a early 60s lady kenmore dryer
