Reading comments on online videos and forums about outdoor LED fixtures and the night sky, quality of life , safety, and vision enshitification these LEDs facilitate, found many people think LEDs are all that is avalible-looked in latest Grainger catalog and there are still HPS and halide fixtures avalible for quality, effective outdoor night lighting. A couple years ago, was noticing electrical contractors replacing the same LED wallpaks again and again even though i had observed those lamps working as intended before being replaced-making me suspect they were "milking" some sort of "smart" lighting subsidy payout... I love it when i see LEDs blaring away in broad daylight Dimming out
