Non Clogging Spray Arms

Not so much.

We have a LX in the bar at the restaurant. Although there is a strainer system in the bottom of the tank, broken glass and citrus pulp works its way through the strainer and clogs the outer most spray nozzles and works its way to the others.
How does glass work through the strainer ? Heaven knows. The drain line has a check valve in it where one must keep a wet/dry vac handy as particles will lodge in the check valve causing the sensors to go biserk and this will always happen at 7:30- 8 PM right in the middle of a busy night. (Usually on a Saturday too)
Is it a good machine ? Well, and older tech once told me "Water and Circuit Boards just don't mix". There are sensors everywhere in this machine and although we're only open May through October, there is always at least 6-8 service calls on the LX per season. We should have kept the UM-4. I could have killed the owner for throwing that machine away.
On the Other Hand, we have in the Kitchen an AM series which I maintain every night. I flush the Tank every night, look for lost pieces of Silverware, Sip Stix, small animals and the likes. It's amazing what one can find in the bottom of the tank everynight.
This is the AM machine.

Spray Arms

These rarely clog.

The biggest culprit is Shrimp Tails and Sip Stix. The Sip Stix get like spaghetti with the hot water and work their way down.

This is the Lower Wash Arm. The smaller one is the Rinse Arm.

Yes stevet... I know the machine needs to be DeLimed. I Delime every 3 weeks.
