Hobart "WM" Series Service Manuals

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

The seller should be careful!

Hate to say it guys, but those manuals are not generally available to anyone except factory trained Hobart techs. It is not that many of you out here cannot use them properly, but there are liability issues associated with their use and Hobart would not stand behind you if you managed to hurt yourself or someone else.Nor would they take any responsibility if you did as well. They do not publish them for "public" consumption. I am sure that the domestic manufacturers are doing much the same and there is almost no way for the general public to contact a tech support rep anymore.
Commercial manufacturers still provide tech support but draw the line, I would say with a novice repair person.
Just for the record, I have been nearly totally trained on all their product lines except for scales and wrappers and if there was a service manual I needed and didn't get for some reason, my branch manager has to sign off on the request for me to get it. Sounds crazy but it is for everyone's safety.
This person selling them is either an ex Hobart employee and didn't return the manuals upon his or her separation from the company which would mean that they are stolen property. Be careful, that is all I am saying. Much of what you might need to know about their machines is not totally contained in the manuals and they could be less useful than you might expect them to be.

So are you and yours going to make like many a sorority or some such group and purchase the things to keep them out of the hands of "plebs"? *LOL*

All I'm saying is that there are tons of things sold on eBay meant for professionals. From tools, to hair products,to medical supplies, and so on

Are you a saftey mgr for Hobart or the likes.

They look to me just like any manuals that one get when a machine is purchased. And that makes it his NOT HOBARTS. And one can do with them what ever one wishes. From selling them to giving them to Jackson Dishwasher co.. as one wishes!
