Would Frigidaire Timer-Part Number: 634779 fit a Unimatic WO-65 or a 1-18? I don't have manuals to cross-reference. Thanks!!

The timer listed on ebay may be a commercial timer, I don't see it in the book listed for domestic models up to 1975. This seller has a lot of commercial parts listed for sale but I don't have those cross-refs for Frigidaire coin-op machines.

This seal 5431063 is the top seal in the multi-matic mechanisms.

Hi guys

Greg - the original timer that came with the machine lasted about 50 washloads before it started to act up. It started at the end of the cycle when the motor would cut off but the spin solenoid would stay engaged and the machine would coast to a stop. This was over a year ago so I don't remember all the other symptoms. Eventually the timer became unusable which brings us toooooooooo......

Ben - I still do appreciate what you did for me and this is by no means looking a gift horse in the mouth, but the timer never really worked right from day 1; unfortunately my "repairs" didn't help anything either and I take most of the blame for this timer not working. The first problem I encountered was that the timer only gave 30 seconds of wash before it would go into the overflow rinse. If left alone ( which I never do) it would fill for ~10 minutes, wash for 30 seconds, then start the overflow rinse. At first, I thought this was going to be the only problem so I came up with an idea to use my Unimatc ( I was desperate ). I decided to install a switch in the cord that supplies power to the timer motor. I would let the machine fill, manually advance the timer to only increment that gave wash, and then shut off the switch to the timer motor. The timer would then be stuck in wash, and I could then turn back on the switch when I was ready. This actually worked fairly well for about 5 loads and I didnt mind at all that I had to babysit the machine. Again this was awhile ago, so I dont remember all the symptoms, but the timer began to act up much in the same way that the original one did, and after 2-3 more loads became unusable.

Crap, that was a rebuilt timer body too, wondering why it is giving you fits.

I believe we (Robert and I) had you use the original timer motor escapement on it. Something doesn't seem right...
