For folks with dryers that used scent - whether it be vials of liquid scent (thinking Kenmore's), or other methods(perhaps solid scents), has anyone replicated a base recipe ( a aromatic carrier of sorts) and do you have a favorite “recipe”?
I’m playing with options with my new-to-me antique dryer and so far focusing on essential oils. Unsure if I need to add alcohol to help volatilize it, but of course I don’t need to create anything too combustible. Almost wondering if using a favorite cologne would work, but that could get expensive fast. Do you just end up with fragrant exhaust air or do you clothes actually pick up the smell?? Seems like the scent needs to be pretty potent…..
