Hi, can anyone help me please, ive just bought a Hoover logic 1100 that was suposed to be in working order having been stored in a garage for 2 years. I tried it on a rinse programme and everything works fine, I pressed the creaseguard button to advance it to slow spin and that was fine, it pumped out the water and did the distribute tumble but didnt spin. It swithed off but no increase from distribute speed to 500rpm. I then tried it on spin dry 1100 and same thing, just distribute speed nothing else. Has anyone got any idea whats wrong with it or what I can do? Thanks. Ian

Try re spinning

Hi, try re spinning it. My Logic did that one day, cant remember what programme/options, but it only distributed so I stopped it, re set it and just spun it again.

Sorry I cant be of much further use.

Hi Ian.

One of the rarer Logic models comes to light - A3804 is a 'C.W.S exclusive'.

Anyone the foggiest idea who C.W.S are/were?

My ecologic 1300 does exactly the same as your machine, though mine sounds a bit laboured too unfortunately :-(
It hasn't been looked into yet so I can't offer an 'oh its this answer', so all I can say is check that the brushes are OK and then, as per Phil's post, maybe check the pressure vessel for build up.

After these, then it could be a contact issue in the timer.

Hope that you manage to get it spinning again and if you do, let me know what you did, so I can maybe apply it to my Ecologic.

Cheers
Paul

Was this stored or transported on its side at all as that can run moisture into the pressure switch itself and this may take a bit of drying but it can be done!
Before you do anything though go with the tip of cleaning the pressure vessel and also push a screwdriver up the tube an inch or so and after reassemble try the spin again.
