Apart from it only needing a new spider the bearings are fine. The only one thing that is missing is the drying fan motor but with it being a vented version i wouldn't use it anyway.

Well Hass, I Sold two elderly customers a new Hoover Optima OPH616. The first thing i like to ask is how old is your current machine & what make is it, so i got quite excited when they said that it was roughly around 25 years old & that it had a large sticker on the front which said this

Its when ya show an Camra to an Oovahhh for a phota!!, goes all gooey eyed at the thought!!
Craig, great pic up there, what a well built wesher, and they worked great, I saw one fitted into a kitchen with a cut out into the worktop for the vent, madam just got the vent pipe from under the sink and plugged it in, voila, perfect fit!!

Sorry about the quality of my so called (warped) Photos i've seen plenty worse on here but i'm not a camera expert far from it. I have one camera & i haven't a clue about Lens Distortion.
Did a water test on the Hoover tonight & it's 100% water tight, it heats to the correct temperatures & the timer advances fine. Just waiting for these 2 parts (currently out of stock) then i will plumb The Mean Machine in.

i have this picture management program and it has a "Barrel distortion" feature that allows you to remove the distortion caused by the lens, this is common on all phone/not expensive cameras.
You see it costs sod all to make a multi mega pixel camera but the expensive part is the lens, the more expensive the camera the more accurately the lens will be made, shaped and finished, the less image distortion you will get.
