Hoover All In One

I recently wrote a post about plumbing in a new property that I'm buying. I thought there wasn't any plumbing, luckily there is. Anyway, I was going to buy a Hotpoint washing machine but the price has since increased. A friend of mine is buying me a washing machine, so I can't take the p**s with the costs of the machine.

I recently saw a Hoover I'm Currys and checked the for door seal and noticed what looks like a Jet slit in the rubber. I also noticed a programme called All In One of the dial. Checked the Hoover site and it looks like the machines with the water jets in them have this programme.

I never imagined I'd get a Hoover machine but I do like jets on washers and also a machine that is capable of adapting the wash cycle by the load. I think this machine is probably going to be quite loud, but in intruiged by it.

One member has a Candy machine with the all-in-one programme and reckons that the programme isn't particularly great. Think his machine otherwise has been fairly reasonable.

That machine will be less likely to stick out than the Hotpoint you were looking at looking at the sizes, though may be a little louder. Or you could also get the 7kg version of the Hotpoint you liked for less than the cost of the Hoover.

Have you looked at AO.com or other sites to compare their prices to Currys too? You might be able to save your mate a bit of cash (or get a different machine for same price)

I think I was just intruiged by the Hoover because it has a jet inside if it. It only appears to have one though and not the pulse 8 so not sure how this machine would work.

Even though it's claimed to have 7kg, the drum is tiny (looks a tiny bit smaller than the 5kg Beko in the kitchen here) so it's probably not a good choice for me and the body has such a tiny depth to it.

I hope when the time comes, Currys or someone else has a good deal on an inverter Hotpoint or Indesit which is 7 or 8kg. The January sales will be a good time to look around I guess.

Hoover 8 Pulse washer dryer

Hi! Here's some information about an Hoover washer dryer with the 8 Pulse Technology (jet inside the drum) with some programs'results (Cotton, All Baby, Drying test...). Washing programs of this appliance are the same of the only washing machine, so you can comparate.

All in One is a good program that allow to wash together clothes with different colours and texture (cotton, synth, mixed) at 20°C, with the same results of a 40°C cycle, consuming up to 60% less.

That looks very interesting. Thank you for posting and I like how quiet the machine is.

With reference to the machine I saw in my local electrical store. The Hoover machine there has just one slit on the left hand side (a bit like the older Candy Activa jet system) and I was wondering if that machine works like a pulse 8 of not. Obviously there's only 1 jet so it's different but I can't see any videos of this machine on YouTube to find out.

The machine has an extremely small depth to it so it may be fussy on the spins and not a good buy. It's just a shame I can't source any further details than what's on the link in my post above.

Mix Power System perhaps?

Hi aeg03... I suspect this Hoover uses the new MPS found on Candy Vita range... and it might operate like Dejan's Candy, this is not a recirculation system but it uses a separate component to mix the detergent and spray it over the clothes. Here's the link:

Hi Haxisfan,

It perhaps works in the similar way to this machine. I am so intrigued by this machine.

I went to check it again and I feel that the size of it will be fine for myself on my own. I also like the KG mode too. It all all the features of adding extra rinse function too.

I would really like to know if that Candy has a similar programme to All In One on the Hoover. I just wished I could see that Hoover DYNS7154D8X in action! I love machines with jets in them.

8 pulse --> All in One

Hello, I haven't been to the AW for a while, hope this info will be helpful:

The new Hoover "All in One" range is range updated and internally identical as my GrandO Vita (Simply Fi), and functions absolutely the same.

Here's a little Candy - Hoover "Translator":
Perfect 20 = All in one
PerfectRapid 59' = All in one 59'
Baby program = All Baby

Candy/Hoover generally have biggest drums in most of dimensions on the market. They are specialists about that especially in slim machines. 7 kg Hoover slim machine, just as my Candy has a 50 l drum, which is by far the biggest one in a 40 cm slim front loading machine (For a little comparaison - 7 kg drum on Indesit/Hotpoint standard machines is only 2 liters bigger in volume)

During perfect 20 does the machine distribute the load when washing?

I will mostly use 40 degrees and 60 degrees cottons.

Can't say I'm a fan of the slim body machines. Just a preference, I don't like the way that look. But when the machine is tucked under the worktop, one wouldn't know it was a slimline machine

Does your machine ever top up rinse cycles? I have a Beko currently with 5kg drum and when washing a full load, there's hardly any water (looks like it's washing dry) but it does top up on wash cycle. The rinse cycle however, it tumbles as it fills. But doesn't fill very high & and NEVER tops up despite what I've got loaded in there. Despite it's default of 3 rinse cycles on rinses, the fact it never tops up on rinse cycles does not impress me.

The video of the jet in reply #5 looks exactly like the type of recirculated spray jet used in the Hoover Quattro, circa 2000.

Rinsing

It doesn't distribute during the wash or rinses on any cycle. Just before spin, as any traditional machine.

It has a very smart, and certainly very different filling for the rinse system from Beko. Now, I don't want to bore you with details of how it works, but you have nothing to worry about when it comes to Candy and rinsing If anything - there's a Sensitive Care button that will increase water level and number of rinses without adding much to the length of the cycle.
