If the machine says that it's made in Italy, then it is were it comes from, laws that indicate the origins are very strict and even if there could be components sourced from aboard most of them and all craftsmanship and assembly was made in Italy.
After all if the company bought out Vyatka and Jinling (you guess who's Russian and who's Chinese!) they have to put them to use
If one keeps buying MOL/TOL he can be sure he's buying Italian or at least EU made, otherwise, to cut costs there are increasing possibilities of things made in the East.
Another example are Candy's BOL dishwashers, they're made in China too, MOL and TOL, like the 15 places Futura machines are made locally.
Most the Candy/Hoover appliances sold in Australia as an example (like Philco branded washer/dryers!) are made in China... it would make no sense to ship everything from Italy all the way to OZ when Chinese factories are much closer!
An exception is the Candy Trio, the appliance that groups dishwasher/oven/hobs in a single unit! Those are either made in France or made Italy but since they charge premium and make them in only moderate numbers there's a point.
