Hoover Deluxe Dryer D6152 BELT ARRANGEMENT

Hi all, i have a Hoover Deluxe Dryer Creasecare D6152 which all but caught fire, Stripped it down and it was jam packed with lint, cleared it all out, but now for the life of me cannot remember how the pulley wheels/belt went, if any body could help me it would be really appreciated, i will attach some pictures of what i am looking at.

Hi Jack

put the belt around the drum and motor pulley first, then spread the idler/jockey pulleys either side of the belt, so in effect the belt runs between them.

Hope that helps, one of the best performing dryers there, great you're repairing it.

Spring

Thanks for the reply, where does the spring hold one of the jockeys to the base of the machine?

the spring just goes between

the two arms that hold the jockey wheels, there is no spring to the base of the machine.
