One Condenser Dryer Is Enough For Me
Had it been vented *might* have been tempted. But with owner's reviews less than satisfactory am not driving all over NJ to collect. *LOL*
Besides it runs on about 300 watts less than my AEG and that unit takes >two hours to dry an eleven pound mixed load. In fact last night got that fed up with the thing after one hour and a half (and the "hand iron" light had yet to come on), that stopped the unit and bunged the still mostly wet load into the Whirlpool. There things dried in <45 minutes. Few things that had damp spots when onto a laundry maiden for a while to finish.
That Hoover unit runs on 208v-240v at 50hz. Not sure if it would mind "American" power but the difference in frequency can affect any computer circuits or other parts such as the motor speed.
Wonder how the thing got to this side of the pond anyway?
