Hoover electronic 1100

I was given a Hoover electronic 1100. Having always used twintubs (what a life!), this is high tech for me, and I don't quite understand what the various programmes (other than the obvious) stand for. Does anyone have the instructions? In particular, what are 'special treatments' and what does 'woollens' do exactly? Thanks! Annemieke.

There are several Electronic 1100s- A picture would be fantastic, failing that do you open the door using a push button or is there a slide beside the door?.
