Hoover Electronic Automatic de luxe A2024 model
Hello Tony and a warm welcome to the AW family, you have a very unique Hoover Automatic there, our models only had chrome doors on the Keymatic or exclusive models.
Looks a very clean machine and well kept, how did you come to get it ? the programme fascia looks very busy but closer inspection sees 9 main wash programmes ?
Just seen your videos so will post them here, to good to miss out on that unique Hoover Sound..

I too stumbled across your YouTube video and, having had a look at your profile, looks like you managed to save it in the nick of time! Congrats on a great save.
The South African Hoover laundry market is a bit of a treasure trove and it's always interesting to stumble across a South African model familiar to UK eyes, but with differences.
I have posted a picture of what is likely to be the matching dryer to your washing machine.

You mentioned an Electron 600!
Over in South Africa, they had a proper matching dryer to the round door Electrons - photo attached below.
These certainly weren't sold in the UK (well, as far as I know they weren't) and I have only ever seen photos of these round door dryers on sites in South Africa.
Their round door dryers look really smart too - strange they weren't made available in other markets.
