hoover guys please read!!!

I was looking on google images and saw this neat little canister that looked like a hoover connie,but a little different. I was looking at the old hoover spindryers and what do you know but this little item was a hoover spinner called the "Saturn" of course leave it too hoover too have made something so neat in the 1950s. does anyone have one? I am very interested. thanks Bill

Hi Bill,
I know the spin dryer you are referring too, they were available here in the UK from 1959 onwards, however only made for a few years.

It was an "on the draining board" spinner, it sat on it's own rubber ring, no switch to turn on just plug in and go...not even a brake to stop the drum turning !!

I have one in my collection and the user guide. (pic attached from a museum)

Wow! That is cool. I'm a big Hoover fan but I've never known anything about that before. Fantastic little thing
